Where to find us
Welcome to our home, South Barlogan Farm, PA11 3SP located in the greenbelt countryside of Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire. Built nearly 200 years ago, our farm is situated on the outskirts of the village. It is just 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport and 25 minutes from Glasgow city centre by car.
Accommodation
The farm has three accommodation units, The Coo Shed, The Dairy Parlour and The Hen Hoose which offer beautiful self catering accommodation, set in rolling countryside...the true makings of a relaxing break.
If you're on a business trip, looking for a family-friendly accommodation in the area or just somewhere different for a quiet weekend away, we hope that this will show you why you should stay with us in one of our luxury cottages; The Coo Shed &The Dairy Parlour and the newly released lodge - The Hen Hoose. If travelling in a large group or simply arranging a family reunion, all three cottages can be made available to accommodate you.
Although no longer a working dairy farm, we still have other animals, including horses, alpacas, dogs, cats and chickens. As you would expect, being in the countryside we are surrounded by sheep and cattle, wild roe deer and pheasants make the local woods their home whilst owls and buzzards are aplenty in the air.
Situated between the two affluent Victorian west Renfrewshire villages of Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm, you will be surrounded by rolling countryside with excellent local amenities within a five-minute drive in either direction.
In each of the local villages, you will find quality restaurants, bars and a lively café culture, popular food shops and a few gift shops to spend a few minutes browsing in.
West Renfrewshire, the adjacent Inverclyde and the nearby Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park really do have something for everyone, especially if you like the great outdoors and exploring new areas.
The Coo Shed, The Dairy Parlour and The Hen Hoose are fantastic places to base yourself if you're on an extended stay, or just a great place to chill and relax for a night or two. You will see just how good a location it is for seeing the best of what the west coast of Scotland has to offer.
